SunSeeds is a Naarm/Melbourne-based band formed in 2019, featuring members from Chile, Colombia, and so called Australia. They are known for blending South American folk traditions with contemporary influences.
Their music blends Afro-Peruvian, Afro-Colombian, and Andean rhythms with electronic and psychedelic elements, to tell stories of resistance, love and connection with nature. SunSeeds has performed at the National Multicultural Festival 2025 and supported Chilean producer Rodrigo Gallardo at a sold out show to an audience of 400 people at Howler, Melbourne.
The highly anticipated debut album, SUR, reflects the band’s experiences as immigrants and creators striving to maintain and share their culture in so called Australia. Over the past year SunSeeds has released two singles, with a total of four tracks now available from the upcoming album. As the release of SUR draws near, the band continues to share their rich cultural story and passion for music with audiences locally and interstate.
